Weekly Web Poll Privacy Policy
Personally Identifiable Consumer Data
Visitors to the Weekly Web Poll web
site have the opportunity to 'opt-in' and
provide their contact details to be notified of our various paid survey opportunities and
entertainment polls. Visitors also have the opportunity to 'opt-out' and have their
submitted details removed from the Weekly Web Poll database at any time, for
any reason. Our privacy policy is focused on the following basic principles:
1. Information that
our visitors provide to us is stored on a secure database that
is accessed by Weekly Web Poll staff only.
2. Apart from visitors
actively submitting their information in various online forms throughout the
web site, no other user information
is gathered and stored by Weekly Web Poll.
3. In addition to our own
paid survey and entertainment poll notifications, we occasionally feature
third-party offers that our visitors may also opt-in to receive. These
promotions are offered by our affiliates and are subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in the affiliates' own privacy policies (all of which are clearly
viewable at their respective sites outside of the Weekly Web Poll). With
the exception of these third-party offers that our visitors may opt-in to receive,
Weekly Web Poll never
shares its database with any outside group or individual.
4. We only mail our paid survey and entertainment poll updates to the email addresses that our visitors explicitly provide us. Any time a user wishes to be removed from our database, they simply need to reply to the email notification we send them, or email us at "remove@weeklywebpoll.com".
Non-Personally Identifiable Consumer Data
Weekly Web Poll displays
advertisements across multiple channels and media throughout its site. With respect to the
individuals who visit our pages, we record anonymous
information such as IP address, the URLs of the pages which have been viewed
by our visitors, browser type and version info, and date and time of each page
view. We do NOT use cookies to collect this anonymous data, it is solely
acquired through CGI programs stored on our own servers. This
non-personally identifiable data is never shared with any third-party. It
is used solely to gauge the popularity of the pages in our network and the effectiveness
of the advertising campaigns we manage there.
